April 25, 2009 -- Joni Carr, the creator of the Tribu-Pet line of stained glass pet memorials has been notified of her selection to the juried Big West Arts Festival. In its fourth year, the festival is to be held in Sheridan, Wyoming August 1st and 2nd, 2009. Joni will have selected pieces of her Western Mosaic sculptures on display and for sale.
The Big West Arts Festival is held outdoors on the grounds of Sheridan College. It has been rated as one of the top arts festivals in the United States. Sheridan, Wyoming, where Joni was born and raised, is located in the valley just to the west of the Big Horn Mountains and is about half way between Yellowstone National Park and the Black Hills of South Dakota.

When not making a Memory Dog House or one of my other stained glass memorials that let pet lover's like me celebrate the life of their beloved companion, I love creating sculptures that celebrate the heritage of the west."
November 30, 2007 -- Several of Joni Carr's Western Mosaic sculptures are currently on display and featured exclusively at the Pismo Fine Art Glass Gallery in Beaver Creek, Colorado. Joni Carr, the creater of Tribu-Pet Pet Memorials, makes the sculptures by starting with an old cowboy boot or a hat and turning them into beautiful mosaic art pieces using glass, jewels, fine metals and other unique touches.
The sculptures demonstrate the creativity and artistry in the use of stained glass and mosaic that Joni Carr has developed in her 20 years of experience. The Joni Carr Studio is located in Longmont, Colorado.
The first Colorado Family Pet Expo was held in Denver in March, 2007. Out of all the exhibitors, Tribu-Pet was one of four picked to be featured on Denver's Fox-31 Good Day Colorado news show. Tribu-Pet was picked because of the unique nature of the product and the beautiful artistry that goes into each stained glass piece.
